The Need For Core Aeration
Lawns need aeration from time to time. Compaction from foot traffic and dog traffic. Compaction will not allow water and nutrients from reaching the roots.Â
Most people do not know how the thatch in your lawn is formed. Surprisingly, it has nothing to do with grass clippings. In fact, lawns do much better when the mulching method is used when mowing. Thatch is the result of top die off. Meaning the grass actually wilts due to too frequent watering. Instead of watering twice a day, maybe try every other day or third day.Â
Watering Schedule
We recommend watering every other day. You can raise the watering time to help with drought. This will help with root development as well as eliminate thatch.
